Dear Friend of JPS,

Our 120th anniversary year is quickly coming to a close, but there's still time left for you to make it the best campaign in our history.

Because our donors have been so supportive, with just an additional $25,000 we will reach our overall goal of $350,000.

We're almost there - but we need your gift now to make this goal by June 30th, the end of our anniversary year.

As Philadelphia Mayor Nutter said so eloquently at our 120th anniversary gala last November, "JPS is dedicated to preserving, translating, and disseminating the treasures of the Jewish literary heritage to the English-speaking world."

Launch JPS's work for the next decade on a sound financial footing by contributing now.

Thank you so much,

P.S: Why, you might ask, should you give to support books and Jewish learning when people are hungry? As it says in Pirkei Avot: "Im ein kemach, ein Torah; im ein Torah, ein kemach" (Without bread, there is no Torah; without Torah, there is no bread). For a truly meaningful life, we need both wisdom and food.
