Julia
Julia Oestreich is the assistant editor at The Jewish Publication Society. She manages both the Lost Bible Project, which will result in the publication of a 2,000 page anthology of commentaries on Second Temple literature, and the Jewish Choices, Jewish Voices series on contemporary Jewish ethics. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in American Social/Ethnic History at Temple University and is an instructor for the Florence Melton Mini-Adult School. She is a pop culture whiz who loves baseball and is given to loquaciousness. She also likes using unnecessarily long, pretentious-sounding words when writing blogs, but is just happy to take any break she can find from writing her dissertation.
